MCWC PETITION FOR CONTESTED CASE HEARING WITH MDEQ

Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation filed a Petition for Contested Case
Thursday May 31, 2018 in opposition to the Michigan DEQ decision to issue Permit No. 1701,
which was granted to Nestle Waters North America in April and would allow the
company to increase its water withdrawal at the White Pine Springs Well (PW-101)
in Osceola County, Michigan to 400 gallons per minute (gpm).
